Construction Trades Trainee

Chapman Training and Development Programs in collaboration with Roselle First are recruiting for Construction Trades Trainees for our Construction and Building Technology Course located in Roselle, New Jersey.
The paid training qualifies graduates for entry-level employment in the construction industry in positions such as Carpentry Assistant, General Laborers, Electrical Assistant, Masonry Laborer, or Plumbers Assistant.
Trainees gain classroom experience in multiple skilled trades that includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and masonry and will earn program certifications.
On-the-job training opportunities and job placement services will also be provided to program graduates.
Applicants must be residents of Union County, New Jersey, be at least 18 years old and meet income eligibility requirements.
The paid training is free, men and women are welcome, High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required and no prior experience is necessary.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
